I was teary eye when I was at @Airbnb last Friday. Some of you may know that I spent 3+ years and worked with 2 scientists to develop @YoconutDF because we have imagined at BETTER yogurt – one that uses clean ingredients that work with your body and wildly indulgent, without taking industry short cuts such as whitening, gum, and cane sugar (aka white table sugar). It was during these times that I sublet a room on Aribnb to make an extra buck. Often, I would feed my guest whatever yogurt concoction I made and get their feedback - and it was during a tasting that one name it “Yoconut”. I have since name the company and our food to Yoconut. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunity and the guest that Airbnb funneled to me. Without Airbnb, the opportunity of making an income while grinding the early days, Yoconut may not be where we are today.
